Casa Cipriani has announced its soon-to-open boutique hotel, Casa Cipriani Miami, expanding the brand beyond its current New York and Milan locations.
Casa Cipriani Miami, a 17-story oceanfront tower, will feature a 40-key all-suite hotel, a private members club, and 23 ultra-luxury residences.
It marks the brand’s second US site following its New York location, as well as its debut into luxury real estate with sales on the residences estimated to start in the $25 million range.
The boutique hotel, located on Collins Avenue, will feature a restaurant and club lounge, a Cipriani Spa, and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Designed by architect Brandon Haw, the Casa Cipriani Miami will follow Miami Beach’s 1930s-era art deco style.
It is being developed as a joint venture between Miami-based 13th Floor Investments, New York’s Midtown Equities, and the Cipriani family.
A spokesperson for the family said: “Building on the humbling success of our first Casa Cipriani in New York, followed by Milan, we’re excited to partner with 13th Floor Investments to bring our latest hospitality concept to Miami Beach.
“Miami is an international beloved destination where we already have several projects, and it has become a vibrant center for arts, design, entertainment, and business.
“We look forward to welcoming a local and international community who appreciates a home to relax in, with great service and privacy in splendid surroundings.”
The Casa Cipriani Miami launch expands the brand further into the South Florida market with projects already underway in the region including Cipriani Residences Miami, a Cipriani Restaurant in Brickell, the completed Mr. C Residences and Mr. C Hotel in Coconut Grove, and the upcoming Mr. C Hotel & Residences in West Palm Beach.
Casa Cipriani was founded by a four-generation international hospitality family. It began in 1931 with the opening of the 50 square meters Harry’s Bar on the first floor of an abandoned rope warehouse in Piazza San Marco, Venice.
The bar is still open to this day.
Since then, three generations have continued the brand with restaurants, event spaces, residential, luxury hotels, and private membership clubs around the world including in Milan, Mexico City, Dubai, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, the upcoming Punta del Este and many more.
