Alexis Von Yates, 34, of Ocala, was arrested on November 6, 2024, and charged with lewd or lascivious behavior involving a minor between the ages of 12 and 16. The alleged incident occurred in July 2024 while the teen was visiting his father for the summer.
According to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, authorities received an anonymous tip on July 30 claiming the teen’s father had walked in during the alleged encounter. The affidavit also stated the incident began after the teen and Von Yates were playing video games and watching a movie while his father was working late.
The teen also reported that the suspect had been making inappropriate comments for about a week leading up to the alleged incident.
